Making A Comparison

Discuss some of the games that children play in Australia.

Compare, contrast and discuss how these games are different and similar to Chinese games played in lesson five. Are there games that are similar? Do they have different rules? If so, how are the rules different? How are the concepts of these games different? Create a venn diagram to highlight these similarities and differences.

Peace Building & Conflict Resolution

Discuss the importance of peace building and resolving conflict when playing games, especially those involving team work. Get students to discuss if conflicts only occur when they are young. Discuss the different conflicts that they have to resolve in their daily lives. How do they cope with such a conflict? Ask students how listening helps to build peace and resolve conflict.
